Manufacture of wine from grape

The company is engaged in the production of wines. It was founded in 1908 by Jeronimo Parera's family, who instilled in the business a devotion to oenology and a passion for tradition and in the workforce enthusiasm and a commitment to hard work. Its registered office is located in Sant Sadurni d'Anoia, Barcelona, Spain. The company is one of the first companies to use its own selection of yeasts and apply the process of microfiltration prior to tirage to purify the fermentation in the bottle. Its production process has since become a model for advanced stirring methods. From the vine to the glass, the sole purpose of the company's vigorous and effervescent effort is to give pleasure to the senses. The company sells its products under several labels including Gran Castell, Dos Lustros, Brut Zero Brut Reserva, Brut Zero Brut Nature, Topacio Brut, Topacio Semiseco, Rosado, Grand Cremant Brut, Grand Cremant Semiseco, Extra Brut, Extra Semiseco, Gold Semiseco, and Gold Brut. Extra Brut is aged for one and a half years in the bottle before release. It is made from a blend of 33 percent Macabeo, 33 percent Parellada and 33 percent Xarel-lo, all native grapes.
